How The High Speed Disperser Works

Conventional high speed disperser consist of a driven vertical shaft and a high shear blade disk.

The blade
rotate up to 5000 fpm and generates a radial flow pattern in a stationary mixing vessel. The blade creates a vortex that draws the contents of the container to the sharp edges of the blade. The surfaces of the blade then mechanically broken solid bursts, so that their size is reduced and it is dispersed at the same time under the use as carrier liquid fluid.

High speed dispersers are ideal for dispersions max. 50,000 centipoise.
